What kind of Entrepreneur are you?

The Employee Entrepreneur: (80% of population)

They work hard, they have good ideas, they have too many responsibilities, they are involved in nearly every aspect of the enterprise, they are the expert–just ask them. They lack the free time and income they should have for their talent and expertise. They meet their expenses some of the time and financially that is about it. They pretty much work 24/7. What they have really created is an extension of their last job, although they own the business, they view the business world as if they are an employee. And when the hours are calculated against their income and retirement savings after taxes, they are making less. They would be further ahead to work for someone else.

The Middle-man Entrepreneur (15% of the population)

Business and name recognition have expanded and they are profitable. Their lifestyle has improved somewhat; however, they still don’t have the free time they should have. They have not released management responsibilities to competent employees. They are still at the center of selected projects, some of which are far below their level of competence. They continue to have thoughts that the operation can not run without them. When in truth, they have not taken the time to move out of their old role and create a new and enjoyable life style. The odds are they are holding the company back, preventing needed new ideas and enthusiasm. They are struck on the fence in the middle.

The Millionaire Entrepreneur (5% of the population)

They are no longer at the center of the enterprise, the company runs without them. They have freedom to choose where and how they wish to engage their talent. They understand their own strengths, weaknesses, abilities and limitations. They visit management team meetings to ask questions and advise the direction of the company. They are guilt free about the money, free time and power they have created. They understand the primary central factor (2.0 Growth Accelerator) that drives a business's long term profitable stability and they keep an eye on the numbers to make sure it occurs each month. They may occasionally find areas within the company in which they want to utilize their expertise and instincts to refine and make it stronger. They enjoy new ideas and concepts; they are enthusiastically curious and active in special outside hobbies and interests.

You don’t have to be a millionaire to appreciate and live this state of mind.

The more you study successful people you will find these characteristics repeat themselves. Questioning your own beliefs about career, money, motivation and power is essential. You may want to ask yourself....

Who’s standards do you live by, who influences your thinking?

In their life time, 80% of people earn an income 2% less or more than their parents. They will live in a neighborhood very similar to the one they grew up in. (Forbes)
